Arguably the most famous pickup basketball court in the world, Rucker park offers the opportunity for very competitive runs on a great court. In the summer months it can be reserved for tournaments and such. You can check this NYC map for availability. https://www.nycgovparks.org/permits/field-and-court/map There are lights but they are mostly used for tournament play. (New lights are being installed so there will be closures from April through June 2026.)
